“ Went for brunch on Sunday. We were created as soon as we walked in which was nice. We were seated quickly. We had fried green tomatoes that were cooked to perfection but lacked seasoning. It came with a tomato based sauce which didn't help at all. They ran out of chicken but they did get more but it took longer for our food to come out. The fried fish was AMAZING, hot and seasoned perfectly, the grits tasted better than they looked and they could have kept that tomato based sauce off the plate...it does not belong with fish/shrimp and grits. The fried chicken was ok. Waitress was awesome, drinks, ambience and music playing in the background was all good. Definitely will go back when they have a live band and order something different. ”
“ We stopped in here before going to the Blue Room for live music. We were greeted by a lovely, very friendly lady who got us seated. Our server was very good and efficient. We ordered some drinks before ordering. The sun was setting and our table quickly became super hot. We hated to ask, but we asked to move to another table in the shade. They were very accommodating. Our food was amazing! We had a bourbon bacon cheeseburger, a creole chicken & shrimp plate, red beans & rice & pasta Primavera. I highly recommend checking it out! ”
“ An update to my last review- the bartender was LOVELY!! Coming back to Soiree was just so fun, as always. This Sunday brunch was accompanied by a DJ who was really great. I had the fried green tomatoes which were off the hook! I highly recommend. I also had the cheesy oysters and they were insane. I typically don't love oysters but these were incredible. Our server and bartender were so sweet, AS ALWAYS. And I will never come here and not get the hurricane. So delicious! This time, I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken sandwich. I think the chicken sandwich is just amazing. I wasn't obsessed with the chicken and waffles, personally. HOWEVER, you gotta try that chicken sandwich! ”
“ Pulled up and tried Soiree for the first time a few weeks back. I popped in for brunch. The breakfast was solid, but nothing spectacular. I loved the restaurant and ambiance though. Went back the next day to try that Brunch Burger and MY GOD. That ungodly, monstrous burger was so delicious. My only teensy complaint was I wish the andouille link on the burger was crispier. I like this spot. Can't wait to get back! ”
“ Soiree has good food, great service, and had live music on the evening we visited. Once the music started (super talented saxophone player!), we couldn't talk since it was really loud. So if you're wanting to continue the conversation, try and sit near the back. Large portions, good fries, and it was cool to try salmon bites. The food wasn't anything special, but it was a good meal. ”
“ I recently paid this spot a visit on Friday night. The service was amazing as our waiter was extremely attentive and super welcoming. As an appetizer we ordered the oysters (not pictured) which were delicious! As entrees we ordered the Pasta Primavera which was a mix of vegetables with pasta in a red sauce, which was honestly okay...My partner ordered the mac and cheese and it was super delicious. We both agreed that the food was a tad bit over salted, but nonetheless we will definitely be back to try new dishes next time. ”
“ If you're looking for some southern food...check out Soirée over in the 18th and Vine district! The food was good, the vibe was right and the staff were friendly! They have live music and the band played old school R&B. I got the Cajun chicken and shrimp which came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. The sauce on the chicken was good! Perfect amount of spice ”
“ We were in the 18th & Vine district and got a tip to check out Soiree's. Even though it was closed as they were in between lunch and dinner, staff allowed us to come in and relax. The venue is large and full-service. Service was very good. My wife took the waiter's recommendation of went with the pasta/sausage dish - outstanding. I ordered to cobb salad as was not disappointed. Full of shrimp and veggies hit the spot. A great selection to relax and have a quality meal. ”
